SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTION AND STAFF
Our professional service charge includes but is not limited to consultation with family and clergy, arrangements and direction desired, preparation and filling of neceesary notices, authorizations and consents; and other services and attendance prior to, during and following the services selected including coodinating with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g. cemetery, crematory, and others. Also includes in the charge are overhead expenses relative to our faciilty such as insurance, maintenance and utlity expenses, secretarial and administrative costs, and equipment and inventory expenses.
This fee is our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremation, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)
EMBALMING
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as a direct cremation or immediate burial.
USE OF FACILITIES FOR VIEWING (VISITATION)
Single room per day or portion thereof (at funeral home or other facility).
Based on a maximum radius of 50 miles from our funeral home. The charge for additional miles on use of all automotive equipment is $2.00 per mile one way only.
Two options available for your convenience only when casket is purchased from Archway Memorial Chapel. These alternative selections are available at the prices given. You may, if you wish, add additional services not included below, such as a limousine or additional visitation. The charges for the additional services and/or transportation will be made according to the itemized prices listed separately on this website. If there are items in the selection you do not desire, then the selection may not be used and you must select from our list of itemized charges.

FORWARDING OF REMAINS FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME/MORTUARY
Includes removal of remains, services to staff, a proportionate share of overhead costs, embalming, necessary authorizations, local transportation to airport. It does not include the services of staff or the use of facilities for any visitation and/or rites or ceremonies prior to forwarding of the remains, nor does it include any shipping charges.
RECEIVING OF REMAINS FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME/MORTUARY
Includes minimum services of staff, a proportionate share of overhead costs, care of remains and transportation of remains to cemetery or crematory. It does not include the services of staff or the use of facilities for viewing or for funeral rites/ceremonies.
Our charge for an immediate burial without any attendant rites or ceremonies include: removal of the remains, transportation to local cemetery, necessary services of staff and authorizations, and a proportionate share of overhead costs.

Our charge for a direct cremation (excluding ceremony, visitation and crematory charges) includes local removal and care of remains and transportation to crematory, basic services of staff and authorizations. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like heavy cardboard or composition materials or pouches of canvas.
