Ernest Leon Williams Jr.

Ernest Leon Williams Jr. was born in Anchorage, Alaska on August 19, 1970 to the proud parents (Mother) Peggy Jean Hurse and (Father) Ernest Leon Williams Sr. Ernest lived in St. Louis most of his life. He graduated from Parkway West High School in 1989 where he enjoyed playing football. Afterwards, he attended college at ITT Technical Institute where he received an associate degree as a General Electrician. Later, he actively served his country as a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps from 1990-1994. This allowed him to travel from Korea to California and live in Japan for a year as he loved to travel. There was nothing more important to Ernest than family. On August 23, 1988 he fathered his oldest (daughter) Shakita Laniece Williams and on June 21, 1992 (son) Ernest Leon Williams III with Monette Nichole Dinkins. Ernest proceeded in his career at A.S.E Alarms Specialist and Electronics (2008 - 2013) where while working, he met his current wife Victoria Frances Williams who he married and fathered (son) Elin Lamont Williams October 21, 2020. Ernest will always be remembered for his love for God, good sense of humor, being the life of the party and a smile that could light up every room he walked into. He was a God fearing man, a beautiful soul, loving, kind-hearted, accomplished, very smart, self-taught, an innovator, a visionary, smooth and engaging. His mother reflects on a memory of him as a child, getting up on Sunday mornings, getting dressed and riding his bike from 1909 John avenue to Cote Brilliante for church, beating them there. He loved music, especially R&B, jazz and rap. This led to his hobby of becoming a DJ (DJ Eazy E). He was gifted in that he could fix just about anything. He was determined and would spend countless hours until he figured it out. He had many skills such as electrical, plumbing, woodworking, car, home and business alarm installations, fencing and many more talents. His passion working with security alarms gave him the motivation to start his own business, NU TECH security. NU TECH was his inspiration and part of the legacy in which he was leaving for his children. Ernest is survived by his wife Victoria; his mother Peggy (Maurice Edward) Hurse; father Ernest Leon Williams, Sr.; (brother) Anthony (Wanda) Lamont Williams and (sister) Jamie Luerelean Samuel; children Shakita, Ernest Leon Williams, III, Elin, (step-children) Traahna, Toriahna, Eliyah, Calvin, and Cylin; (grandchildren) Anaiya, Jayson and Laylah; (nieces) Alyssa, Jasmine and Jamiea; (nephews) Andrew and Cameron (sister in law) Maria Cain and Domonique Young; (extended family) Courtney, Shindell and Ossie along with a host of other cousins, aunts, uncles and friends who loved him tremendously. “If you’re going to live, leave a legacy.
