Paul Lewis Reynolds

Paul Reynolds Age 82 of Florissant MO. Paul Lewis Reynolds was born September 10, 1937 in Selma, Alabama. He was the sixth child born to Percy, Sr. and Onnie Mae Reynolds, who preceded him in death. Paul passed away in Florissant, MO at Rancho Manor on April 17, 2020 at 9:00 pm. He confessed Christ at an early age at Sister Spring Baptist Church, in Selma, Alabama. Later he joined the Galilee Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. I.C. Peay Sr. He was a member of the Glee Club. Later he attended Grace Church, St. Louis in Maryland Heights, MO with daughter Beverly, until his illness. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior, March, 2019. Paul graduated from R.B. Hudson High School. He took an interest in auto mechanics at the early age of nine working at Frank Bright’s Mechanic Shop. Mr. Bright mentored and trained him to become a master mechanic. Paul moved to Chicago where he worked in the food industry. He returned to Selma and worked at Griffin & Son Funeral Home, as a mortician. He later relocated to St. Louis, MO joining his siblings. He enrolled at O’Fallon Tech for Automobile Mechanics. After completing his courses, he was employed by Anderson Transmission, Quality Dairy, and then Bi State Transit as a full-time Mechanic. In 1969 he became an Entrepreneur, at Paul’s 66 Service Station in University City, MO. He later relocated his business in another location in University City, MO., where he retired in 2017. He left to cherish his legacy, his wife Sarah Elizabeth (Walker)Reynolds. To this union three children were born, Beverly (Frederick) Jackson, Terrance (Valeri) Reynolds, and Kevin (Stacy) Reynolds. Nine grandchildren, Jasmine, Brandon, Aaron Sr., Lorenzo, Tyler, Caleb, Paige, Jordan, Terra, three Great Grandchildren Gabriel, Cameron, and Aaron Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends and the Staff at Rancho Manor. Siblings: Percy Reynolds, Jr. (Harriett *), Walter Reynolds*(Emma Lee) all from Detroit, MI; Arthur Reynolds, Sr.(Claudia*), Nettie Tate (Thomas*), Rose Harrell* (Kitcherl), Doris Peterson (Stanley), Ernestine Reynolds, Anita Matthews (Kenneth), all from St. Louis, MO. One Aunt, Ruby Doyle, from Houston, Texas. * Preceded him in death. Arrangements are private for immediate family only. A Memorial Life Tribute Service will be held at a later date. Please note Archway Memorial Chapel is not accepting any flowers at the funeral home. At the family's approval, they may be sent to the family's home.
