Deacon Lois Howard Thomas

Deacon Lois H. Thomas was on born September 2, 1922 in Beulah, Mississippi, he was one of seven children born to the union of John Thomas and Mary Lloyd Thomas, all of who preceded him in death. Deacon Thomas accepted Christ at an early age, he attended Bethlehem M. B. Church for 35 years, and Shiloh M. B. Church under the leadership of Rev J.D. Clark until he became ill. Deacon Thomas loved the Lord and served faithfully as a Deacon. Deacon Lois Thomas migrated to St. Louis where he met and later married the Love of his life Hattie Thomas, they were married for 71 years, Hattie proceeded him in death. Deacon Thomas was a loyal husband and father to eight children, two sons and six daughters, three of whom preceded him in death. To describe him would be to describe a man who was hardworking, gentle, loving, quick to smile, slow to anger, and although a man of few words they were always words of encouragement. Deacon Lois Thomas leaves to cherish his memory, one son: Jerry (Wanda), four daughters: Katherine(Willard), Lindell (James), Hattie Faye, and Angela, Son-in-law, Andy Jumper, Daughter-in-Law Norma Thomas. Fourteen grandchildren: Sam Jr, Sean, Deon, Ryan, Brandon, Derrick, Kenneth, Dustin, David, Monica, Brandy, Lynn, Brittany and Blair; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
