Wendell Roosevelt Batchman

Wendell R. Batchman, Age 79 of Florissant, MO. Wendell was educated in the St. Louis Public Schools. At an early age he had a passion for basketball. He got the opportunity to play briefly with the Dallas Chapparrals (today known as The San Antonio Spurs). He also played with The Harlem Globetrotters until he was drafted into the United States Army. He was employed by the Federal Government and after retirement worked in The Ferguson-Florissant School District as a bus driver. Wendell is survived by his children Damon (Robin) Wilson and Tracey (Roland) Page; sisters Deverieux Enge-Tate, Yvette Enge and Katherine Alexander; grandchildren Kristina, Taylor, Ashley Lee, Richard Lee, Jr., Roland Page and Robert Page; great grandchildren Darren and Amiyah Frazier, Chance Moore, Riley-Ann Marie Lee, Greyson Benjamin Lee and Sei Lee Page; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
