Annette Frances [Cillo] Eldridge

ANNETTE FRANCES (CILLO) ELDRIDGE July 29, 1936 - June 28, 2026 Annette, age 89, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on June 28, 2026, just one month shy of her 90th birthday. Annette was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who always put family first. During her life, she spent much of her time serving, caring for, and helping many family members and friends. She was known by others as someone who could be counted on. She was a devoted Christian who could often be found reading and discussing the Bible with others. She loved playing the piano and singing hymns whenever time permitted. She enjoyed writing poetry and wrote numerous poems over the years, often poking fun and making light of everyday activities. Annette also enjoyed playing cards and games with friends and family, in which her competitive nature often shown through. In other pastimes, she loved old western and romance movies and tuned in daily to her favorite soap operas such as The Guiding Light, As The World Turns, and even in her late-80s, was a top contributor to Facebook’s Young and The Restless fan group. She adored her family, who was always her top priority and spent as much time with them as possible. When she and her husband Tommy were in their younger years, she enjoyed traveling the U.S. with her kids and visiting all the tourist attractions, especially national parks and monuments. Annette was loved and cherished by all who knew her. Her positive outlook, quick wit, and loving smile will be so deeply missed. Her life was largely devoted to serving others and we will forever be grateful for the impact she had on so many. She is survived by daughter, Ruth Ann [Philip Lance] Wellman and son, Daniel Lee [Kelly Kathleen] Eldridge; loving grandmother of five grandchildren: Matthew [Jennifer] Wellman, Lauren [Nolan] Berens, Nicole [Alex] Dwyer, Ellie and Emily Eldridge; three great grandchildren: Andrea Elizabeth and Cameron Pierce Berens, Lily Collette Dwyer; and one sister: Angie Loftus. She was preceded in death by her parents: Sam and Elizabeth Cillo; sister: Rose Cillo; seven brothers: Joseph, James, Vito, Anthony, Charles, Sammy, and Jasper Cillo.
