Charles Allen Jr.

Charles Allen, Jr. was born March 9, 1928, in Kinloch, Missouri. Charles attended St. Joseph High School, which was located on Page Avenue in the city of Saint Louis. During High School, Charles worked for Dr. Pepper Bottling Company. When Charles left Dr. Pepper he moved to Chicago, IL in 1951. Charles married Dorothy Earlene Robinson on November 5, 1950 and the union lasted for 48 years. They were blessed with six beautiful children. Charles joined the Army branch of service in January,1951 and served for two years. After his service to our country, he joined the Chicago Police Department in 1955 to 1970. He was with the police department for 15 years. In July of 1970, Charles & Dorothy moved the family to St. Louis. Charles started working for McDonnell Douglas, now known as Boeing in October, 1970. He was with this company for 37 years, retiring in February, 2007. Leaving cherished and loving memories; with his children; Michael David Allen Sr. (deceased), Michele (Roy Jr.) Anderson, Olivia (Hugh) Arrington of Houston, TX, Marsha Allen, Mark (Debbie) Allen of Claremont, CA and Monica (Darian Sr.) Woodruff of Chula Vista, CA, daughter-in-law (Sharon Allen Thompson); siblings Louise (George) Hadley, Harriet (Ken) Wilks, and Sister Maria Aquinas, part of the Dominica Cloistered order in Bronx, New York; grandchildren Michael Allen Jr, Brandice Allen of Atlanta, GA, Candice (Leo) Hawkins of Chicago, IL, Samantha (Cedric) Montgomery of St. Louis, Matthew Charles Anderson of Brooklyn, NY, Hugh (LaQuesia) Allen Arrington, Charles Allen Arrington both of Houston, TX, Justin Arrington of Atlanta GA, Darian Woodruff Jr, William Woodruff, Autumn Woodruff all of Chula Vista, CA, Ariana Allen of St. Louis Mo., Myles Allen, Maxamillian Allen, and Elijah Allen from Claremont, CA; great grandchildren; Izaiah Allen in Charleston, SC, Kirie, Malachi Allen of Indianola, MS, Micha & Bria Allen of Atlanta GA., Mia, Ashley, & Charles Arrington of Houston TX., Lyon Hawkins of Chicago IL , Peighton Montgomery -St.Louis, MO; host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
