Kathleen Marie Baker

Kathleen Marie Baker, Age 54 of Saint Peter’s Missouri. Kathleen Baker, A “Snoopy” Fanatic and a everlasting beautiful soul. Heaven gained this angel on December 7th 2020 at approximately 2:45pm. Kathleen was survived by her Mother Jacqueline Ann Baker and the late August John Baker Jr. Beloved Mother to Mikayla Ann Baker, and Dear Grandmother to August Robert Baker. Loving Sister to her siblings the late Patricia Ann Baker- Wichmann, James August Baker. Dear Aunt to Collin James Beard-Baker, Samantha Ann Tedeschi. Dear niece, great aunt, cousin and family friend/ best friend to many others. Kathleen was born into this world on September 18th 1966 At Christian Brothers hospital in Saint Louis County. She was brought up with both her parents and was raised with her beloved sister and brother. Kathleen was baptized and accepted Christ into her life at an early age. Kathleen was very optimistic and hardworking knowing exactly what she wanted out of life and determined to achieve her goals. Kathleen Attended Fort Zumwalt North High-school and graduated in 1984. Later on in life she became the beloved mother to her only child Mikayla Ann Baker. She was involved in everything Mikayla did. She watched each change in her daughter and celebrated every milestone. She was a very nurturing, loving, caring, and over protective momma. As one of her favorite movies said “nobody puts baby in a corner.” (Dirty Dancing.) Mikayla was Kathleen’s everything her “baby.” No matter how old she got. One of her proudest mom moments were watching Mikayla graduate high-school and her becoming a momma on her own to her very 1st and only grandson which then she became a grandmother to. (August Robert Baker) she loved spending time with August watching movies, playing games, teaching him things and overall sharing her life experiences with him. As years went on Kathleen was Diagnosed with Chrons and Ulcerative Colitis Disease. It became difficult to do many things and she became sicker as time went on so from there she became the best stay at home mom anyone could ask for. Kathleen was a special woman who touched many lives, people would describe her as sweet, loving and very open hearted, always being in great spirits and uplifting to others who did not know her. Her beauty and infectious smile could light up a room, something that followed her for a lifetime. Kathleen was very independent, adventurous and fun. Above all else Kathleen’s family and extended family meant the world to her. She enjoyed the holidays and loved having family and friends over to celebrate especially Christmas because that was her favorite holiday. Kathleen was well known for her homemade lasagna and loving anything chocolate. Kathleen was a collector of Anything Snoopy/ Peanuts related, she had books, movies, shirts, cds, anything you could think of. She loved to travel and take long drives and talk with friends/family and listen to music anything “oldies” or “country” with no destination ahead. When she went on trips she had to stop at every store and collect every knickknack, craft, and souvenir she could find. When she went out to any night in the town she loved to dance it made her feel free and happy and carefree. Kathleen had a soft spot for any dog/animal she met. Her favorite movies were Grease & Dirty Dancing. We will remember Kathleen for all these beautiful things, memories and pictures. She may not be with us durning the holidays anymore or any normal day of the year but she will be missed deeply and be with us in our hearts & spirit. We love you Kathleen so much I know you’re looking down on us and we’re making you proud.
