Mark Allen Schuster

Mark Schuster, 1958 - 2015 Mark Allen Schuster, 56 of Boonville, MO lost his fight with pancreatic cancer and went home to be with his Heavenly Father on January 17, 2015. Visitation will be at the Davis Funeral Home in Boonville, MO on January 20th beginning at 4:00 PM. We encourage everyone to wear their Schuster’s Troopers shirts in remembrance of Mark to the visitation. Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Pilot Grove, MO on January 21st at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Martin’s Catholic Cemetery. Mark was born October 9, 1958 in Boonville, MO to Wilbur, deceased and Shirley (Morlock) Schuster of Pilot Grove. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Gertrude (Aggeler) Schuster and Archie and Eva (Kramer) Morlock. He is survived by his wife, Linda Mills of Kansas City, daughter Kayla of Columbia, sons Ryan (Kelli) of Kansas City, Evan (Amber) of Pilot Grove, MO, step daughter Lauren Mills of Kansas City, step son Corey (Megan) Mills of Denver, CO, two sisters, JoEllen (Chuck) Leake of Sturgeon, MO and Lori Ann Schmitt (Sarom Ek) and two brothers, Larry (Betty) Schuster of Columbia and Patrick (Donna Hilden) of Boonville, MO. Grandchildren include Clayton, Layne, Brooklynn and Brantley. Mark has two nephews and three nieces along with a host of cousins. His godson is Drew Felten. His godparents are Norbie and Louise Schuster. Mark attended St. Martin’s Catholic School, St. Joseph’s Catholic School and graduated from Pilot Grove High School. He worked as a farmer, laboratory cabinet installer and finally as a facilitator for Caterpillar, Inc., for over 20 years. Mark lived life to the fullest. Outside his deep passion for his family, he was a crack outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and swimming. In later years he became an accomplished water skier and recently learned to wake surf. He also fell in love with the beaches of Florida and was an avid seashell hunter.
