Michael Lamar Terry Jr., Age 44 of Florissant MO. Michael Lamar Terry, II was born to the late Michael Lamar Terry and Veraline Terry on November 9th, 1970, in St. Louis, MO. Michael was the middle son of three siblings. His two brothers: Steven; and Larry (preceded him in death). Michael met and married Tamarh Orange (who preceded him in death) on June 18, 2008 in St. Louis County, MO. From that union, was born, Michael L. Terry, III. Michael was a dedicated father and husband, often sharing a multitude of memories with his family. He leaves a legacy of a solid work ethic, integrity, and love for family. Michael was educated in the St. Louis Public School systems attending Parkway Elementary; Florissant Junior HIgh School; and McClure North High School. He later attended Lawton Junior College in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was a dedicated student and always interested in law enforcement. He cultivated that interest by joining the United States Army in 1989, earning full rights as a US Veteran. Michael was a Security Officer for the bulk of his career life, serving as a Security Captain for GLobal Security for 13 years. Due to a company reorganization and closing, Captain Terry continued with his passion for service, working as a Security Officer for the Hazelwood School District. At the time of his expiration, he was employed at Whelan Security. Michael was an avid sports fan. He always enjoyed watching football, and cheering on the top of wrestlers on TV. He was the best at video games, relaxing after a long day at work with his XBOX and dinner from his favorite restaurants. If you wanted to know the best food in town, just ask Michael. A thoughtful man, Michael never forgot Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day. He had a striking capacity to bring joy though remembering the favorite foods of his mom and mother-in-law. Yes, chocolate strawberries and gift cards were examples of some of the treats he often used to show his love. So, as this chapter of the life of Michael closes on Wednesday, January 7th, 2015, remaining behind to cherish the memories of the good times are his loving young son, Michael L Terry, III; his beloved mother, Veraline Terry; a brother, Steven Terry; a beloved Mother-in-Law, Beverly Orange Harris (Carlton) and Father-in-Law, Hal Orange; an uncle, Earl Alexander (Ida); three aunts - Essie, Beatrice, and Emmalene; and host of cousins, friends, and co-workers.
